Capture the
fleeting moments.
We'll write the story.
A magical app that turns quick photos, hurried text notes, and bedtime voice memos into a beautifully written, linen-bound keepsake book.
Privacy-first. Stays on your device.
From a messy Tuesday to
a lifelong heirloom.
No scrapbooking. No weekend lost in a complex book editor. We built Smalldays for parents who want to remember everything, but have zero time to preserve it.
Capture the fragments
Drop in a photo, record a 10-second voice note in the car, or type a quick text before bed. Just fragmented thoughts — Smalldays organises them chronologically.
“He finally figured out how to say ‘dog’ today! Sounds like ‘dug’.”
AI writes the story
Once a month, our AI reads your text notes and voice transcripts and transforms them into beautifully written narratives. It sounds like you, just well-rested.
Chapter 8
“August brought the heat, and with it, an endless fascination with the neighbour's golden retriever. You finally learned the word ‘dog’ — though to us, it sounded adorably like ‘dug’.”

Hold it in your hands
At the end of the year, your photos and stories are printed on heavyweight paper inside a stunning linen-bound cover — delivered to your door, ready to treasure.

Designed to live on the
coffee table.
Nothing generic. Every Smalldays book is wrapped in high-grade textured linen and printed on perfectly matte, 120lb Mohawk Superfine paper so photos look impossibly rich.
Captions, dates, and images merge flawlessly without dragging or dropping a single box.
Because photos are kept locally, we print them at full, native resolution.
What parents are saying
I always felt guilty for not curating a baby book. With Smalldays, I literally just rambled into my phone occasionally, and a gorgeous book arrived 12 months later.
The AI narratives are shockingly good. It picked up on our family's exact dry humor and accurately documented my son's total refusal to eat green beans.
I hated the idea of uploading my daughter's face to a random cloud server. The privacy-first architecture was the only reason I downloaded it.
One day you will carry them on your hip for the last time...
...and you won't even realize it was the last time until much later. Childhood isn't a series of major milestones. It's a million quiet, ordinary moments that quietly fade away.
Hold onto them.
Local Device Storage
Your child's face is not
business data.
Unlike other platforms, Smalldays is radically private by design. We do not use servers to store your family photos. Everything lives natively on your device.
When you are ready to print your book, your selected data is securely transmitted for rendering, and is permanently deleted within 48 hours.
- Zero cloud storage by default (unless you select iCloud sync)
- AI processes your text notes, not your photos
- No compression = studio-quality printing
Frequently Asked Questions
- The AI acts purely as a ghostwriter. It reads the short fragments, text notes, and voice transcripts you provide throughout the month, and weaves them into cohesive paragraphs. It learns your tone and never invents memories that didn't happen.
- We are finalizing our print partnerships, but hardcover, linen-bound books utilizing archival quality paper will start around $65 depending on page count. The app itself to curate and store data is free.
- Since Smalldays is local-first, we strongly recommend opting into our encrypted iCloud Sync feature. This ensures your book is backed up securely via Apple's infrastructure, while completely avoiding our servers.
- We are launching strictly on iOS first to ensure the highest quality device-native experience and local storage framework. If you are an Android user, please join the waitlist and select "Android" so we can notify you when development begins.
